Oils for Weight Loss
Going on a fad weight loss diet is not the solution to your Weight Loss problem.
Consider the problem from another point of view. The western world faces an epidemic of heart disease, obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure and dementia.
Perhaps convenience, junk and fast foods combined with lack of exercise are the main cause of this?
People are eating the wrong fats and sugars. For almost a century the standard oil that you purchased in the supermarket has been refined with the use of heat and caustic soda. The main problem is that the bitter flavonoids found in for example extra virgin olive oil have been damaged.
So for examples, Doctors tell us that extra virgin olive oil can reduce high blood pressure and refined oils can not.
Omega 3 EFA
Another imbalance in the western diet is the wrong ratio of Omega 6 to Omega 3 Essential Fatty Acids. Omega 6 EFA is found in Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Omega 3 EFA is found in walnuts, fish oil, cod liver oil, Cold Pressed or Unrefined Flax Seed Oil.
Inflammation is a normal immune response in the body, but will still damage tissue, danage the skin, blood vessels and brain and cause aging.
