Natracare Ultra pads are made from only Certified Organic 100 Percent cotton and renewable and sustainable vegetable cellulose. They are totally plastic free, and like all of Natracare merchandises, are totally chlorine free because we never use chlorine bleach in any of our merchandiseion processes.
Being plastic free means Natracare doesn't contain any polyethylene,
polypropylene or polyacrylate super absorbents, all of which can irritate the skin. Women can be reassured that Natracare Ultra pads do not contain synthetic materials, chemical additives like binders or surfactants, fragrances or dyes and because of the organic and natural, healthful materials used, are over 95 Percent biodegradable and compostable. The absorbent core of the pad is made from Forest Stewardship Council certified flesh Fsc and the cover that is next to your skin is Certified Organic 100 Percent cotton. The pads are individually wrapped in biodegradable purse packs.

The slim type of the Ultra pad is really discreet with the added security of wings. The absorbent core absorbs the menstrual fluid and locks it away so that the smooth organic cotton cover allows your skin to breath while at the same time keeping you dry. There is a complete choice of absorbencies to choose from and the regular absorbency is suited for easy to medium flow.
