Morlife Wild Yam may cut down cholesterol. It was used traditionally to relieve labor pains, to treat morning sickness, inflammatory diseases like asthma, rheumatism and joint pain and digestive problems. Apart from that wild yam doesn't appear to be a natural, healthful source of progesterone. Herbs that have estrogenic attributes include sage, soy cohosh, ,black fennel and fenugreek. Again surprisingly dong quai is not one of them either.
