Glucosamine Hydrochloride vs Glucosamine sulfate
Both these forms of Glucosamine, in the unadulterated form, transport equally efficacious amounts of the desired Glucosamine to joint cartilage. Preference should be based on safety, stability, pureness and choice of vegetable based. The Hydrochloride form yields 83.1 Percent Glucosamine whereas the sulfate form with 20 Percent Potassium/sodium chloride yields only 62.8 Percent Glucosamine.

Dose
