All true soaps have a p. H of between 9.5 and 10.
Why is the soap sometimes cloudy?
Some vegetable natural oils contain a little percentage of waxes, lecithin and other unsaponifiable matter that do not dissolve in the reaction to make soap. These remain and eventually float to the top.
Why are some batches darker compared with others?
Unrefined Organic natural oils are not bleached and vary in colour. The presence of minute traces of iron also results in the soap darkening with age.
What if I get it in my eyes?
It stings. Flush with ample clean water. The effect is temporary.
